Easter Egg Hunt's being planned now Throughout Rutherford County

Last April we saw events like Easter Egg Hunt’s being cancelled, due to the COVID Pandemic. This year, we are starting to see more and more Easter Egg Hunt’s being planned.

Murfreesboro, TN:

One of those hunt’s will be at Barfield Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. The event for local children in our community will be on Sunday, April 3, 2021 at their brand-new church campus across from Barfield Park (550 Veterans Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN 37128). The Easter Egg Hunt will be at 2PM.

St. Clair Senior Center will team up with Murfreesboro Parks & Rec to host an Egg Dyeing Day on Saturday, April 3, 2021. The artful event will be from 10AM to 3PM. Adults, children and grandchildren are all invited to attend the egg dyeing day, which will cost participants only $5. You must pre-register for this event by calling 615-893-2141, or emailing efaye@murfreesborotn.gov.

Sun. (April 4, 2021) 1-3PM Southeast Baptist Church (708 Minerva Drive) EASTER EGG CAR HOP! Bring your children and "hop" from one car to the next while collecting candy and Easter Eggs. Bring the camera for an Easter family photo. If you have questions, e-mail joe@sebaptist.org.

NOTICE: WGNS has confirmed that there will not be an egg hunt at the Richard Siegel Park on Cherry Lane in Murfreesboro this year.

La Vergne, TN:

An Easter Egg Hunt in LaVergne will be hosted by their Parks & Rec Department along with the LaVergne Public Library on Saturday, March 27, 2021. The big hunt will be a drive-thru event in the Veterans Memorial Park (115 Floyd Mayfield Dr, La Vergne, Tennessee 37086 ) and those who work the egg hunt will be wearing mask and gloves. Of course, it is recommended that only parents drive through the park during the drive-thru Easter Egg Hunt that starts at 10 Saturday morning (3/27/21).

Eagleville / Rockvale Area:

Lucky Ladd Farms (4374 Rocky Glade Rd, Eagleville, TN 37060 ) will feature a special “Easter Festival” on April 2nd and 3rd this year. The farm hands invite children of all ages to participate in their egg hunts on both Friday and Saturday. Prizes will also be given away during the event. We are told that the real Easter Bunny will be a part of the two day egg-s’travaganza.

This year, Easter will fall on Sunday, April 4th.

Unconfirmed Easter Egg Hunts:

Several organizations will likely hold egg hunts this year, but have not firmed up all the details due to ongoing concerns of COVID-19.

In Smyrna, an Easter Egg Hunt is expected to take place at the historic Sam Davis Home on Saturday, April 3rd. Another Smyrna egg hunt could be at Lee Victory Park on Saturday, March 27th from 1PM to 2PM.
