A family traveling through the county on the interstate had a trailer tire become dislodged, two of the adults attempted to get it back on, but speeding motorists only honked and got frighteningly close to the family who were difficult to see on the dark night. Rutherford County Sheriffs Deputy John Wauchek pulled-in behind the trailer, turned his blue lights on and helped. At one point, Deputy Wauchek directed the speeding traffic away from the vehicle while the two other men retrieved the tire and re-attached it. It proves even more how important it is to “MOVE OVER”---especially in the dark of night.
