The landscape is changing on Tiger Hill. A new gas station is being built along the inbound lane of Highway 231 South behind Walmart and reports indicate more townhomes will be built in the area as well.
At 231 South and Joe B. Jackson Parkway, construction is underway for what developer “Baker Storey McDonald Properties, Inc.” is calling the Marketplace at Savannah Ridge. If you are on South Church Street and looking towards the development, the shopping center is being built to the right of restaurant Camino Real. The Marketplace is expected to include an Aldi grocery store, retail and restaurant space. The company reports that nearly 35,000 vehicles pass the property daily.
