The annual New Year’s Day 5K is back for another round this year in  Murfreesboro…

Parks Assistant Director Rachel Singer said the 5K will be on paved trails and roads within Barfield Park…



The 5K will start at 11:00 on the morning of New Year’s Day. The race is limited to 500 participants and you have to pre-register online. The $25 registration will come with a free shirt and the race is open to all ages and abilities.  

To register, visit www.murfreesboroparks.com and look for the link toward the bottom of the page. The last day to sign up will be this Thursday at packet pick-up.

PACKET PICKUP

You will receive your race bib number with safety pins and your souvenir t-shirt. Come on Thursday to avoid the lines on race day! You may send a friend or relative to pick up your packet; they must have a note or text from you giving them permission to do so. SHIRTS MAY NOT BE PICKED UP AFTER RACE DAY.
