At Cannonsburgh Village (Murfreesboro, Tennessee) on Friday, July 7th, Uncle Dave Macon Days Music and Arts Festival officially begins and continues through Saturday evening, July 8th with the best in musical entertainment and National Competitions in Old Time Music and Dance.

Uncle Dave Macon Days is a music festival which honors traditional American "roots" music and the career of the first superstar of the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame, and Grammy Nominee, Uncle Dave Macon.

Heritage Award Winner for 2017:

The Uncle Dave Macon Days Heritage Award recognizes and honors individuals who have dedicated their careers and life perpetuating, preserving and promoting old-time music and dance. This year's Heritage Award winner is Russell Moore!

Trailblazer Award Winner for 2017:

The Uncle Dave Macon Days Trailblazer Award is presented to an artist, musician, or individual who have developed old-time musical performance styles and techniques that blaze the trail for others to perpetuate, emulate, refine, and follow into contemporary genres. This year's Trailblazer Award winner is The Grascals!
