Jogger Suffers Non-Life Threatening, but Serious Injuries After Being Hit by Car in Murfreesboro

There was a pedestrian versus car accident Tuesday morning in Murfreesboro at 5:58 AM. WGNS spoke to Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Kyle Evans who told us a man was jogging on Franklin Road when he was struck by a vehicle. Evidently, the person ran into the roadway when he was hit, possibly to cross the Highway 96.

The victim received non-life threatening, but serious injuries. He was transported by ambulance to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
