Driving on a revoked license may be the least of the suspects worry. 35-year old Edwin Myers was pulled over on NW Broad Street for a noise violation and charged for the sixth time with DUI. Apparently he caught the eye of police after he was accused of laying some rubber down and spinning his tires. In case you are curious as to what kind of car the suspect was driving while laying some black marks, it was no race car. He was driving a 1989 Chevy S-10.

When police further questioned Myers they noted in a report that he had an odor of alcoholic intoxicant about his person, not to mention blood shot eyes and slurred speech. The next step was to ask the Smyrna man to perform a field sobriety test. Long story short… he failed, according to the arrest report.

Myers was charged with DUI number SIX, driving on a revoked license and he was charged as a habitual offender.  As of Tuesday afternoon, Myers had not made bond and is still behind bars.
