Counterfeit money turned up in Murfreesboro again. This time the fake cash hit Sonic on Memorial Boulevard.

Police were called to the restaurant and spoke to the assistant manager who told them a white Ford Explorer or Expedition showed up that was occupied by two white males in their thirties or early forties. The duo had buzz cuts. The employee said that a white female around the same age with long brown hair was with them and she was the one who handed over a fake $20 bill. After the transaction, the three left the scene.

The vehicle involved in the counterfeit money was caught on video at Sonic, but an arrest has not yet been made.
