Middle Tennessee quarterback Brent Stockstill is out for the remainder of the season after being injured in Saturday's home game with Texas-San Antonio. Stockstill, speaking to the media today, said he had surgery Sunday to repair two breaks in the right collarbone...

The redshirt sophomore became the university's all time passing touchdown leader during the FIU game in just his second year as quarterback. Stockstill finishes the regular season with nearly 28-hundred yards passing and 27 touchdowns.

Coach Stockstill says redshirt freshman John Urzua (ur-ZOO-ah) will take over as signal caller for the Blue Raiders. He did say it's a possibility his son could rehab his way back to play in the Blue Raiders' bowl game but it's way too early to speculate on that.
