According to the report, many people are escaping the high prices of Nashville for Murfreesboro and Smyrna. The rankings take into consideration factors like cost of living, average annual income, attractions and quality of life.
According to the Livability.com survey, the median household income in Murfreesboro is 50-thousand dollars while the median home value is over 176-thousand dollars. In addition, Smyrna offers a small-town feel with a low cost of living and the third lowest property taxes in the state.
