Murfreesboro Police responded to the area of Oak Hill Drive after receiving word that a 29-year old had allegedly stated that he wanted to drive to Washington, DC to "Shoot members of congress." According to an incident report that WGNS obtained on Tuesday, Corey Alan McNeil reportedly told a friend that "He would cause so much damage that the next guy would not have to."

Police spoke to McNeil who said that he was angry with the government "because his wife and child are in the Philippines and the government won't let him see them because the government hates non-whites."
