Murfreesboro State Farm Operations Center Employees gained tools to work from home

On Sunday (3/23/2020), State Farm Murfreesboro Operations Center employees lined up in their cars to pick up equipment to begin working from home.

While many already were working from home, the numbers of those receiving equipment to start working at home went up to 750 additional employees at the Murfreesboro Operations Center gaining the ability to assist customers by working from home. A drive-through distribution allowed employees to pick up teleworking equipment (laptops and accessories).

State Farm told WGNS NEWS, "Our first concern is with the health and safety of the individual, their family and our associates. We're committed to all our employees' health and well-being and limiting interruptions to our customers. This is part of our plan to do both."

At the State Farm Operations Center in Murfreesboro, across from SportsCom, at least one employee tested positive for the Coronavirus this past week.
