Need some new trees for your yard? The Rutherford County Soil Conservation District will be giving away bare-root tree seedlings to Rutherford County landowners at the Lane Agri-Park Complex (located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd., Suite 150), on Wednesday, March 4th at 8:30 a.m. The species available are Redbud, Hybrid Chestnut and Roughleaf Dogwood. They will be given away on a first come first serve basis. There will be a limit of 5 trees per landowner.
