A Murfreesboro man and a Mt. Juliet resident will appear on a brand new TV show this Sunday called "Fat Guys in the Woods."

Jeff Caron is from Mt. Juliet, TN and James Hill Jr. is a resident of Murfreesboro.

In every episode of "Fat Guys in the Woods," survival expert Creek Stewart brings three average Joe's back to the woods to survive for a week with only one objective: to teach them the skills that make a man, a man.

In the Sunday episode featuring a Murfreesboro man, Creek teaches Dan, an aspiring professional wrestler; Jeff, an ex-marine and country music musician; and James, a forklift driver known as "Rock" how to survive on a mountain slope. They build a primitive "pit shelter" between two big rock walls and start a friction fire using a super-sized, four-man bow drill. Battling frigid temperatures, snowfall, and unsuccessful deadfall traps, it is not an easy week in the wilderness! There isn't much to eat besides some stir-fried honeybees, and Jeff risks injury to scurry up a slippery rock wall for a few shriveled wild grapes while James (from Murfreesboro) grapples with his decision to give up cigarettes cold turkey on this adventure.

The show will be on The Weather Channel this Sunday, August 31 at 9:00 PM.
