Nissan, which has a plant in Smyrna, is halting production there and across the country in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Facilities will be temporarily shut down March 20th through April 6th.

The company said this is an effort to help "boost containment efforts" when it comes to COVID-19. Officials added there have been no reports of the virus in their U.S. facilities.
