A woman was injured at the Journey Home shelter in Murfreesboro on Wednesday morning. The Journey Home is a local nonprofit that helps to provide meals to homeless persons on a daily basis. Reports indicate that someone drove over the foot of a female who was standing in the parking lot of the facility. After the suspect drove over the woman’s’ foot they fled the scene, but were caught shortly afterwards.

The victim had to be transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.
