Ford of Murfreesboro has teamed up with MOAB Bikes and Rutherford County Elementary Schools for a Perfect Attendance program where eligible students can win a new Trek bicycle. The program allows all eligible students attending Rutherford County Elementary Schools to be entered into a drawing to win a bicycle each month for perfect attendance.

Ford of Murfreesboro Owner, David Lee, said "perfect attendance is such an important behavior for students to excel at early in life." He said this behavior is a trait that will help students both in school and in life. MOAB Bike Owner, Mark Dement, said, "I was happy to take part in this awesome program to reward students for perfect attendance. Mark said it was such a job to see the smiles and excitement when we awarded the first winner.

Over 10 schools submitted nominations for August. Walter Hill Elementary School principal, Helen Campbell, submitted the winning student, 5th Grader- Kandon Hurt. The presentation happened during the schools announcements in a packed gymnasium.

This program is part of Ford of Murfreesboro's ongoing effort to support our community. We have many exciting programs and community events we are participating in to help promote our great county.
