Police investigate a "Shots Fired" call at The Point at Raiders Crossing

Earlier this week on Wednesday, Murfreesboro Police responded to a "Shots Fired" call on North Tennessee Boulevard. The report came in from The Point at Raiders Crossing apartment complex.

One bullet entered an apartment floor and police later recovered the projectile as evidence. It was found in the living room of the rental unit. A hole was found in the floor where the bullet entered the apartment.

Detectives were called in to further investigate. As of Thursday, no arrests have been made.

SECOND REPORT OF SHOTS FIRED:

A second reports of shots being fired was called in to Murfreesboro Dispatch on Thursday morning around 4 AM. The incident took place on Wenlon Drive at an apartment complex called the Vie.

Two victims were sitting inside their vehicle when they heard at least six shots. At least one bullet hit the car that the two were in, but no one was injured.

Detectives collected shells that were left on the scene, but no arrests were made.
