Murfreesboro Police responded to the Murfreesboro Motel on Broad Street this past week in reference to a complaint about a possible meth lab. When officers arrived at the hotel, they knocked on the door in question and a woman by the name of Sasha Despot answered. Officers asked Despot if anyone else was in the room and the police were quickly introduced to Shannon Blythe. A police arrest report shows that when officers asked Blythe if anything illegal was in the room, he responded, “yes, there may be some stuff to make some stuff.”  It didn’t take long for police to figure out what that “stuff” was.

Police say they found several ingredients to a meth lab along with special tubing used in the production of meth in the hotel room. A report also shows that used syringes and a glass pipe were found in the room.
