Remember Attending the Breakfast With Santa Event as a Child?

For those of you who are hitting their forties and are from Murfreesboro, you may recall as a child making the drive to One Hundred Oaks Mall to partake in the Breakfast with Santa event. In fact, Harding Mall had a similar adventure for children in the 1980’s. Kids from far and wide would head to the mall for the exciting chance to eat with the jolly old fellow.

While much time has passed since your last breakfast with Santa, the tradition is now rolling back around, but this time you won’t have to make the trek to Nashville. Stones River Mall in Murfreesboro is hosting a breakfast with Santa event later this month.

Breakfast with Santa will be held at the Stones River Mall on Saturday, November 16th from 8 to 10. The event will be in the food court. In years past, Santa showed up in a hot air balloon, a fire truck and even a limousine that looked like it belonged to a rock star. This year, Santa will arrive on a sled being pulled by eight tiny reindeer on Harley’s.

Tickets for the event are $5 each and available inside the Mall office. One-hundred percent of the ticket sales will be donated to Beesley Animal Foundation. In addition to Santa's arrival and breakfast with the Big Guy in Red, children will enjoy holiday crafts, balloon art and face painting. Santa will also hand out a collectible teddy bear – a new feature to this year's event. Each ticket features a registration form that can be completed for a chance to win a $100 gift card. Winner must be present at the event.

Below, we would love to hear your memories of your breakfast with Santa adventure as a child. Please tell us all about it.
