Rotary Learns About New Music City Museum

(MURFREESBORO) Did you realize that there is a massive music museum that's under construction on Broad in downtown Nashville? The National Museum of African American Music is set to open around the middle of next year.

The museum's President and CEO Henry Hicks told the Murfreesboro Rotary Club . . .


He noted that 50 genres of music will be explored in five different galleries at the facility that is on the corner of Fifth and Broad, across from Bridgestone Arena.


Hicks described how this complements other Music City venues . . .

Again, the National Museum of African American Music will be opening in Music City on the corner of Fifth and Broad in mid-2020.

The Murfreesboro Rotary Club will celebrate its 100th anniversary on October 1, 2019. They meet for lunch each Tuesday at noon in the Stones River Country Club.
