Rutherford County Fire Rescue BUSY ON MONDAY!

The early Monday hours were busy for Rutherford County Fire Rescue. Around 4:30AM a wreck on West Jefferson Pike, followed by a crash and jack-knifed big rig at I-40 and 840.

Rutherford County Fire Rescue crews responded to West Jefferson Pike just after 4:30 Monday morning for reports of a rollover motor vehicle crash with entrapment. Crews arrived to find one patient entrapped. The vehicle was stabilized and the patient was safely removed. After being assessed and treated by RCEMS, there were no life-threatening injuries reported. THP and RCSO also responded.

I-24 at 840

Still in the early Monday morning time frame, Rutherford County Fire Rescue crews responded to a "jack knife" style motor vehicle crash early Monday morning on I-24 at 840. No other vehicles were involved and the driver was uninjured. RCFR crews mitigated hazmat issues while on scene.
