A man and a woman have been arrested after a shoplifting incident in the Avenue shopping center. The duo allegedly entered Dicks Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Ulta Beauty and Off Broadway Shoes stealing everything from perfume to laptop computers.
Murfreesboro Police met up with Rachel Radny and Michael Barnes inside Dicks Sporting Goods and confirmed the suspicions of area store managers. Inside the duo's car were a vast collection of merchandise from the stores in question. Security tags on the items were wrapped in aluminum foil to fool the stores security system.
Both Radny and Barnes are facing numerous theft charges and are currently behind bars. A warrant to search through text messages in their phones have also been obtained.
