A man who was simply visiting friends at Campus Crossing Apartments in Murfreesboro was apparently stabbed this past weekend. The case remains under investigation at this time.

According to a police report that WGNS obtained on Monday, victim Caemen Lockett was at the North Rutherford Blvd. address when he got into a verbal argument that quickly turned physical. During a fight, Lockett was stabbed in the upper thigh. After the culprit stabbed the 20-year old victim, he was said to have fled the scene.

Lockett was transported by a friend to St. Thomas Rutherford for treatment. Police met with the victim at the hospital where he told them he did not know the name of the subject who stabbed him. He reportedly told police, "He would take care of it," refusing to give anymore details.
