Cornerstone Financial Credit Union has fallen victim to fraud in recent days. The Murfreesboro banking institution on Northfield filed a report with police that stated a female obtained over $29,000 by way of a loan after presenting the bank with forged documents.

The loan went through this past April and since that date, the bank has made numerous attempts to get a hold of the suspect, but each attempt has failed. At this point, no arrests have been made.

The name the subject used on the loan happens to be the name of a professional tennis player who currently lives in Nashville. No word on any arrests made at this point.
