Teen Shot While Driving In La Vergne Has Died

(La Vergne, TN) The juvenile victim shot December 6, 2019 in La Vergne passed away Saturday (12/14/2019) at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

The shooting occurred around 5:00 o'clock Friday night, December 6, 2019. The teen was shot while driving on Cullen Drive, near Nathaneal Drive. He was shot and crashed his car into a tree. A mother heard the noise, and rushed to the youth's aid.

Police are asking the public who live on Cullen Drive to check their surveillance cameras for 12/6/2019 (around 4:45-5:30PM) for any pictures that you might have.

The person of interest is an African American male, between the ages of 18-26 years old, weighs 140 -180 pounds, and was wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident on December 6th, 2019.
