The annual Rescue Run is THIS SATURDAY NIGHT

The annual Rescue Run will be held at Gateway Island behind Murfreesboro Medical Clinic this Saturday night (November 19th). Volunteers are asking everyone to bring glow items with them or wear brightly colored clothing. Sections of the course will be lit up with black lights for both children and adults to enjoy.

"You know, it's sad but true that there's a dark underside to our community...which most people don't see. But, for those of us who do see it, it looks like tragically broken lives due to human trafficking, abuse, addiction, and homelessness...making us feel it's our calling to reach out to these people. In other words, we have the passion of compassion, leading to compassion with accountability."

Chris Spence, a volunteer at Last Call 4 Grace in Murfreesboro, told WGNS that the annual Rescue Run to be held in November will help bring funds to the local non-profit. Spence explains the main focus of Last Call...

Last Call 4 Grace also delivers food and groceries to the less fortunate living in area motel's every Wednesday and Friday night.

The Rescue Run will be held at Gateway Island behind Murfreesboro Medical Clinic on the night of November 19th.
