The Rutherford County Walk to End Alzheimer's is being planned now and will take place on September 21, 2019 at the MTSU Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Field (1568 Greenland Dr., Murfreesboro, TN 37130).

Kim Buchanan with TrustPoint Hospital in Murfreesboro is volunteering to help with the walk. She told WGNS that those who suffer or have suffered with Alzheimer's are very close to her heart.



This year's goal of $310,000 will help to fund research to find a cure to end the disease.
