Middle Tennessee Head Men's Basketball Coach Nick McDevitt announced today that three student-athletes are no longer with the program.
Senior Antwain Johnson and redshirt sophomore Davion Thomas have been dismissed from the team.
"A series of decisions over an extended period of time, in which university, athletic department and team policies were violated, led to these dismissals," McDevitt said. "I wish these players the best of luck in their future endeavors."
Junior Tyrik Dixon also has been granted a release for transfer.
"Tyrik requested a transfer and, in our meeting, we all agreed this was the best course of action," said McDevitt.
