WGNS continues to keep you informed about political campaigns and offices. That being said, we can now confirm that Rutherford County Circuit Court Clerk Laura Bohling, formally announced her re-election this past week at the Rutherford County Republican Party Headquarters.

Bohling, a Republican, was elected in 2010 and replaced long serving Democrat Eloise Gaither. Bohling will be a candidate in the May 6th, 2014 Republican primary. She is running against local resident Lance Jenkins.

Next year, as we inch closer to the local political races, we will have those who are running for local offices on the air.
