The long awaited Bridge Over Broad construction project has been completed to the point the bridge is open.

Drivers were able to drive over Broad Street Saturday (December 16th) morning. The project was delayed about a year and a half, as snags early on with utility lines and design pushed back the opening.

There is still work to do to dress up the roadway, which will still take several weeks to complete.
