21,894 Rutherford County voters went to the polls. Of those, 57-percent voted early (12568) to only 43-percent (9,326) who voted on election day. It's widely believed that voter turnout November 8th will be much higher. Voters will head to the polls to decide on president and many state and federal general elections will be held.
