A 92-year-old Murfreesboro woman was scammed by someone who knocked on her door this past Monday (5/22/17). The victim, who lives in an assisted living apartment, told police the unknown female knocked on her back door and stated that she was told she has the nicest apartment at the senior living community. The female actually asked the victim if she could come in and have a look at the apartment. Apparently, the victim allowed for the woman to enter.

While inside the victims' apartment, the woman asked to use the bathroom. The victim said that after the woman left, she noticed her jewelry was missing out of the bathroom.

The good news, the 92-year old victim told police that she could positively identify the female if she sees her again. The bad news, the subject has not been caught and reports indicate there maybe more than just one victim.
