On Tuesday March 21, The Friends of Smyrna Library donated over 100 children's books to the Smyrna Police Department for Police Officers to carry in their vehicles. The books will be used in those instances where a child has been involved in a traumatic event.

Friends of Smyrna Library is a non-profit organization formed to promote the library. The Friends of Smyrna Library is located within the Linebaugh Public Library at 400 Enon Springs West Smyrna, Tn.
