Arrest Made in Double Murder that occurred in Walmart Parking Lot

A Nashville teen has been arrested for the double murder of two Murfreesboro men in the Old Fort Parkway Wal-Mart parking lot. Murfreesboro Police Public Information Officer Kyle Evans tells WGNS News...

Nineteen-year old Denarius Coleman of Double Tree Lane in Nashville, was arrested at his home Wednesday by the Murfreesboro Police Criminal Investigations Division Violent Crimes Unit, assisted by the Gang Unit and Metro Nashville Police SWAT.

19-year old's Andre Chesterfield and Latre Lillard were both found shot to death in the Wal-Mart parking lot January 29th just after midnight. Evans says a motive in the shooting has not been released...

Murfreesboro Police ask if anyone has information regarding this case to call detectives at 893-2717 or Crime Stoppers at 893-7867.


The arrest comes just a day before funeral services for the cousins, which will be held at New Vision Baptist Church on Thompson Lane. Services are in the care of Nelson and Son's Memorial Chapel
