At the suggestion of one of her customers who works at The Rutherford County Judicial Center, Lisa heard opportunity knock and will soon open "Boro Town Cakes Too" on W Lytle St directly across from the Judicial Center.

At the new location, you will be able to get fresh grab and go goodies like soups, sandwiches, and salads. Yes, you will also be able to enjoy some of your favorites found in the pastry display at Boro Town Cakes.

Rest comfortably knowing that first location Boro Town Cakes will remain open on the Square and the brand new Boro Town Cakes Too is projected to open up on W. Lytle across from the Judicial Center around August 7th.

Rouse is proud to be part of the Murfreesboro community and when opening her new location she wanted to make it distinctively Murfreesboro. To accomplish that she had the idea to cover the walls of Boro Town Cakes Too with murals that would be created by local artists. In a Facebook post, she put the word out that the walls of her new digs would serve as the canvas for a select group of creative locals willing to take on the task.

That's where Tomy Williams, Smaira Hardcastle, Brittany Goodson and Taiisha Bradley find there way into the story. Each of them offers a unique approach to the project while offering outstanding results.

WGNS Radio was invited in for an exclusive look at the work and meet the group of artists transforming plain walls and empty space into art.

When asked what attracted him to the project, Tomy Williams said "...murals and the freedom to create"

A lifelong artist, Samira Hardcastle, describes her mural and why she loves art.

Taiisha Bradley serves as the Marketing Manager for The Center for the Arts couldn't resist creating a piece of window art that will also be found at different places throughout Boro Town Cakes Too..but not until the art lands on the wall.
