The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation received help from a rescue crew out of Rutherford County this week when a vehicle had to be removed from the Cumberland River in Hartsville, Tennessee. Evidently, the truck maybe tied to a death investigation.

On June 9, 2018, the body of U.S. Army Veteran Donovan Crittendon was pulled from the river near the Hartsville Water Treatment Plant. The body was located six days after he went missing.

Reports indicate Crittendon was last seen getting into the personal vehicle of an alleged Drug Task Force Agent by the name of Keith Holder who reportedly works in Smith County, according to The Vidette newspaper in Hartsville. Trousdale County's Sheriff Ray Russell also confirmed that Holder is a former deputy with Trousdale County, TN.

On Monday, Rutherford County Crews helped the TBI, TWRA and local police departments pull a 2007 Chevy Avalanche submerged in 35 feet of water in Hartsville. The truck was in the Cumberland River. That truck was said to belong to Agent Holder who was supposedly seen with Crittendon before his body was found.

The TBI has transported the truck to their crime lab for further investigation.
