A bomb threat was reported at the Verizon Call Center on River Rock Boulevard around 4:00 on Tuesday (4/18/17).

According to the police report released by Murfreesboro authorities on Wednesday, someone called Verizon and stated, "I am Akmed, the dead terrorist and I come to blow you up."

The call came in from a "334" area code which serves southeastern Alabama.

All of the Verizon employees were evacuated from the building until police could further investigate. By 5:15, the investigation was over.
