Local doctor to swim 10 miles to help raise funds for the Domestic Violence Program & Sexual Assault Service office: A local doctor who focuses on women's health is helping the Murfreesboro Domestic Violence Program & Sexual Assault Service office raise money to help more individuals. Dr. Elizabeth LaRoche told WGNS News that she will be swimming 10 miles in Chattanooga. Dr. La Roche talks to Scott Walker on WGNS about sexual abuse and domestic violence against women in the Murfreesboro area. She also talks about how some of her patients from the past, showed signs of abuse, but refused to admit to anything being wrong. Also joining the Friday show is the Domestic Violence Center Executive Director Karen Lampert.
