Emergency Responders Busy On July 4th!

A crash shortly after 6:00 o'clock Friday night (7/4/2014) at the intersection of Broad at Lokey, near K-Mart.
The weather was perfect and traffic was almost non-existent.
Team work between Murfreesboro Police, Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue, and Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services is always at a high level.
This is Broad at Lokey, shortly after 6PM on the 4th of July. Traffic was not an issue. You could look down Broad and at some moments, there were no vehicles in sight.
Several emergency vehicles assisted in this crash Friday, July 4, 2014. It occurred shortly after 6:00PM at Broad and Lokey.

Despite the mercury being in the pleasant 70s all day, and traffic on most streets being minimal--there seemed to have been a large number of traffic crashes, firecracker injuries and other emergencies that kept police, firefighters and paramedics busy.
