The Middle Tennessee State University Board of Trustees announces the following committee meetings for Tuesday, Aug. 28.

All meetings will be held in the Miller Education Center, Second Floor Training Room, 503 E. Bell St.

Academic Affairs, Student Life, and Athletics Committee: 11:30 a.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; recommendations for approval of rules and policy revisions, expedited tenure, and new academic program; and, information and discussion regarding academic degrees under consideration, application and enrollment activity, and athletics recap for 2017-18.

Audit and Compliance Committee: 1:30 p.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; recommendation concerning the risk assessment report; and, information and discussion on the annual report of the Audit and Consulting Services office, quarterly report on the results of internal audits, updates concerning compliance and enterprise risk management.

Finance and Personnel Committee: 2:30 p.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; and, information and discussion concerning the Tennessee Higher Education Commission summer meeting, a philanthropy update, and capital disclosures and capital projects updates.
