Murfreesboro continues to grow by about 200 residents each month.
Below are a small handful of counties with decreased populations in TN:
- Carter County, TN population of 57,483 in 2011. By 2015, their count was down to 56,486
- Claiborne County, TN population of 32,084 in 2011. By 2015, their count was down to 31,709.
- Carroll County, TN population of 29,475 in 2009. By 2015, their count was down to 27,910.
- Obion County, TN population of 32,450 in 2000. By 2015, their count was down to 30,639.
- Hancock County, TN population of 6,819 in 2010. By 2015, their count was down to 6,572.
