Pink Fire Trucks?

The internationally recognized “Care Enough to Wear Pink and the Pink Heals Tour” led by founder Dave Graybill, will head directly through Murfreesboro during their upcoming tour - pink fire trucks and all.  Graybill, a former Olympic and professional baseball player turned fire fighter, travels across the country in a pink fire truck as part of the annual “Pink Heals Tour.” Graybill’s goal is to provide support for women battling all forms of cancer and to create awareness of women’s issues.

So the question that begs to be asked, why the pink? Graybill stated, “We wear pink because pink stands for women.”

The Care Enough to Wear Pink and the Pink Heals Tour will be in Murfreesboro on June 26th. They will be in the front parking lot of Middle Tennessee Medical Center. In addition to the pink fire trucks, there will also be a mobile health unit on display and the opportunity for women to receive a mammogram. The event will be between 10am and 2pm.
