The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties is providing Charity Tracker, a shared case management and communications tool for local leaders in the nonprofit, faith-based, foundation, civic, academia, and government sectors in Rutherford and Cannon counties. The software launched on November 1, 2015, and currently has 72 participating organizations.

Charity Tracker can be used to gather and report statistical data for resource development, strategic planning, measuring outcomes, reducing duplication of services and disaster relief, as well as securely communicate needs directly to the organizations that have the resources to provide services. Charity Tracker streamlines client intake and provides accurate records to assist agencies in serving clients more efficiently and effectively.

During the previous year, 15,755 people have been served with $255,523 in community assistance through Charity Tracker.

"Charity Tracker is the easiest way to keep track of the wonderful work that is being done in this community", said Josh Markham, First United Methodist Church Mission and Facilities Director and Community Helpers Board Chair. "When we work together we can do more. Charity Tracker has been the tool for communication and data storage that helps us all work together. As more organizations jump on board, this will be even more useful. I am personally very thankful for Charity Tracker as it makes my job more efficient."
