The old fashioned "Quick Change" scam has struck another Murfreesboro business. This time, the victim was a cashier at Kentucky Fried Chicken on Old Fort Parkway.

The cashier told police that a black male entered the eatery and handed him a $100 bill. The meal was less than $10. The subject then told the clerk he wanted to pay with a $10 bill. The exchange then happened several more times confusing the fast food worker.

The employee ended up giving the man change for the $100 bill, but only took the $10 bill.

The "Quick Change" scam is done by a con artist who purchases a small item from the store and then confuses the clerk by repeatedly asking for different amounts of change. It often happens so fast that the victim behind the counter fails to realize what just occurred until the suspect is gone.

The incident at KFC was caught on a surveillance video, but the identity of the subject has not been released.
