The nationally ranked Riverdale Lady Warriors have two players who have been nominated as McDonald's All Americans. Senior post Brinae Alexander and senior wing Alexis Whittington have both been tapped as Tennessee player nominees.

It's the first time two players from the same Rutherford County school have been selected in the same year.

Alexander has signed to play college ball at Vanderbilt while Whittington and twin sister Amanda plan to continue their playing careers at Middle Tennessee.
