A winter weather advisory is in effect from midnight until 6am Sunday for Rutherford County and much of Middle Tennessee.

The National Weather Service says around a tenth-of-an-inch of freezing rain is likely before changing to snow. Accumulations will be around a dusting.

A Winter Weather Advisory means periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and use caution while driving.
