A resident of Regal Inn called 911 a total of 9-times to report false incidents to police. On one occasion, the suspect told police that the Shoney’s on South Church Street was on fire and that people were screaming. Officers quickly checked the restaurant and the fire call was determined to be completely false.

After receiving the 9th such call over an extended period of time, officers called Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services to evaluate the suspect. They deemed the woman was not a danger to herself or others and she refused any help for her wellbeing.
