A 38-year old Murfreesboro woman says that she was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance on Tuesday. The victim says that while she was shopping in a local store she ran into a man whom she had met at a local gas station. The man told her that he had several purses in his truck that she would be interested in. Once at the truck the female got into the back seat to look at the purses. The suspect also got in the back seat with her. That was when the man assaulted the female. The incident took place on South Rutherford Boulevard. The case was labeled by police as a rape. So far, an arrest has not been made.
