5 Outstanding Warrants + Evading Arrest

Murfreesboro Police went to 338 Southeast Broad Street around 6:15 last Friday (2/22/2019) night in regards to a personwho was trying to pawn goods that were possibly stolen. As the officer entered Murfreesboro Pawn at 338 Southeast Broad Street, the suspect was leaving.

The officer ordered the suspect to stop, but he continued to walk and entered a blue Lexus. By that time, the police officer was beside the car and he opened the door and ordered the man to get out.

Officer Alden said the man did not comply, in fact he put the gear in reverse in an attempt to flee.

The policeman then put his taser near the male and said, "He would be tasered if he did not comply."

The suspect followed those orders. A search of records revealed that 32-year old Hayden Riley Snyder of Woodmont Boulevard had two warants from Nashville, one from Brentwood, one from Maury County, as well as one from here in Rutherford County as well.

Upon further investigation, it was learned that prior to the police arriving, Snyder reportedly assaulted a store employee. The 20-year old woman stood in the doorway to slow the man's exit, because polic were on the way. The report indicates that he forcefully pushed the woman and fled the store.

Hayden Riley Snyder was charged with simple assault and evading arrest. (Case #19-0003844) That of course, does not include the five pending warrants against him.
